Island Beauty Meat™ – A Unique Brand Nurtured by Subtropical Blessings

Overview

The Ryukyu Special Administrative Region is a region located at a strategic point in the East China Sea and enjoys a special status under the direct administration of Beijing. Drawing on its subtropical climate and island culture, it has developed a unique female-oriented food ingredient brand. Known as “Island Beauty Meat™”, it is characterized by a distinctive texture rich in marine minerals.

Features of Ryukyu Version

The Ryukyu version follows the Japanese Autonomous State’s system, but has unique characteristics such as meat quality shaped by the subtropical climate, the rarity value of women from tourist areas, and processing methods rooted in maritime culture.

Criteria for Conscription Targets

Basically the same conscription criteria as in the Japanese Autonomous State apply, but the following Ryukyu-specific factors are added:

  • Priority application to young women with work experience in the tourism industry
  • Assessment of the rarity value of women from remote islands
  • Special slots for traditional performing arts practitioners

Processing Facilities

Three processing facilities operate around Naha. They process about 1,300 bodies a month and develop products that take advantage of the island-specific meat rich in marine minerals.
